questions

What are Relief Teachers Rates?

questions

Relief rates are calculated by dividing annual salary level by 200.

answers

The Catholic Education Award states "'Relief teacher'means an employee who is a registered teacher who is appointed as and when required, on an irregular basis for any period up to two calender months." This means that relief rates apply to employment of less than two calendar months.

This determines the daily rate of pay
annual salary / 200 = daily rate
For example, Level 13 Relief teacher calculation
$64,854 / 200 = $324.27
