TCEEA Grievance Poilicy Member vs Member
From time to time TCEEA members may have grievances with each other and this may mean that the TCEEA is involved in supporting two members on the same issue. It is important to note that upon receipt of a request for assistance, all members will be assisted/supported by the TCEEA. This would not change in a situation where two members are on opposite sides of a grievance. Our absolute commitment to our members is that all enquiries are treated as private and confidential. Procedure when grievance/issue comes to the TCEEA1.Following contact from a member (A) with a grievance against another member (B), the TCEEA will appoint a support person for member (A).2.Normal member support systems of meetings and advice will take place. 3.If member (B) also comes to the TCEEA then they will also be allocated a support person who will be one of the other TCEEA officers. The two TCEEA support people allocated to two different TCEEA members will not discuss the case with each other. They will keep matters in confidence and will lock all files and documents away. This will ensure that there is absolutely no possible perception of collusion. NOTE THAT
